The Castle simply is the prefect base to explore this beautiful area on the route of the Wild Atlantic Way Ballina and the Monasteries of the Moy Greenway Cycling Trail. Also in the region we have many great heritage attractions nearby, such as "The Jackie Clarke Collection" "Micheal Davit Museum" and the "Ceide Fields" to name but a few.
The Castle, set in a ‘walking friendly’ forest, has so much interesting history and houses one of the finest collections of Mediaeval European Armour in Ireland, plus a collection of fossils, including Jurassic dinosaurs.

Hi There, Honestly myself & Conor had the best time. The Castle and its surroundings are so authentic and their preserved beauty & your staff are excellent. We really liked the efficient but relaxed way about them. The food both at dinner and at breakfast was excellent and the drinks reception was great too. Loved the rooms and the bed was very comfoirtable, the fan was appreciasted as it does get quite hot. The experience of staying in the Castle itself was unique. I can go on but overall, would highly recommend, thank you for a lovely weekend in Ballina.
Kind regards
Aoife & Conor

Had a fabulous stay at Belleek Castle it came highly recommended by a friend of ours and has a rapidly growing reputation, so we decided to stay for a short trip and take in the food at the Castle and the in the Café in the Courtyard. We were a complementary upgrade on arrival a superior room with a four-poster bed with the most delightful view of the front lawn and the woods that surrounds the castle, speechless by the room and view. We decided to take a tour of the museum as it was recommended on check in, have to say we were surprised by the collection of medieval weapons and armor one of the best I have ever seen, our tour guide Stephen was very helpful and even let us handle some of the swords and amour. We had one of our best meals in the restaurant the food is innovative with bundles of locally sourced ingredients and some of the produce even comes from the kitchen garden that we spotted earlier on when walking around the grounds and woods. The menus are full of ingredients that are in season and well thought out. The next day before we left for home we decided to skip breakfast so we could try out the café in the courtyard ( Jack Fenn) which amazing and set in such a relaxed setting .We had a delightful conversation with our server Meabh and she explained the ethos of the café and it certainly links up well with the food in the Castle . Definitely worth a visit if you're in Ballina or for a walk in the woods. We had one of the best experiences staying at Belleek we loved the open fires, most amazing room and our food eating in the restaurant and café a long with the museum tour… total bliss, peace and quiet, every aspect was a delight.

Fantastic place to Stay
Have recently returned from a 3 night break. The castle has a lovely relaxing feeling about it. Paul Maya and the team are so welcoming and professional. The dining experience was wonderful top quality meals with great service. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We did the museum tour which I would highly recommend. The castle grounds and Belleek woods are beautiful. We will definitely return.

Belleek will forever be in my heart, mainly because I got married here and it was the most magical wedding I could have ever expected. For any considering this location honestly it's a 5/5 for service and beauty.
We recently went back 1.5 years later for a dinner with the family and it was amazing being back -- we were treated so wonderfully by Maya and Paul who own the castle. It was just really nice to be remembered and treated.
Outside of all this, the place has amazing food -- Michelin level -- for all the food lovers.
Bedrooms are swank too.
