Head Chef David O’Donnell and his talented kitchen team will be serving a 3 course dinner menu with sittings at 1pm & 3pm on Sunday 21st April 2019 for €38 per adult & €13.50 per child. The elegance and splendour of the 19th Century Manor House is the perfect place to experience our elaborate 2AA Rosette cuisine. The philosophy of our kitchen team is to use classic and imaginative cooking with local, seasonal ingredients from our land, sea and air combining a depth of flavour with the traditions of the Castle.

The award winning Library Restaurant recently won the award for 'Best Fine Dining Restaurant in Connaught 2019' at the Yes Chef Ireland Awards. Easter Bunny Train in Belleek Woods

Organised by Ballina Salmon Festival

Ballina Salmon Festival have organised the return of the Easter Bunny Train in Belleek Woods! After all the eggs have been cracked open come and Join the Easter Bunny for a fun filled Easter Sunday afternoon with a trip through Ballina’s magical forest park on the festival train. There’ll be lots of fun and surprises on the day! Sunday April 21st from 2pm - 6pm. Belleek Woods Community Walk

10 AM, First Thursday of Every Month in 2019

7th February, 7th March, 4th April, 2nd May, 6th June, 4th July, 1st August, 5th September, 3rd October, 7th November & 5th December.

Join us for a FREE GUIDED WALK through Belleek Woodlands on the banks of the River Moy for exercise, pleasure and well being of mind & body after the busy Christmas period. The walk will begin at 10am at Belleek Castle and will be an 1 hour & a half long. The walk will finish at Jack Fenn Courtyard Cafe where people can relax after for some brunch & a cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea.

The group will be guided by Reese the dog & Stephen our Castle Curator who will talk about the heritage of Belleek Castle & Woods. As you wander the woods you will see and learn about it's the variety of trees, flowers, birds & wildlife, such as the red squirrel, who can be seen scampering from tree to tree. 

As you ramble along you will learn about the story of the Knox-Gore family who lived in Belleek Castle and see buildings from the former estate of the Knox-Gore family such as the icehouse, the hermitage, the old boathouse, cottage ruins and the famine wall. The group will wander through the the Fairy Trail and pass by the Knox-Gore Monument, burial place of 1st Baronet Francis Arthur Knox-Gore, who is buried there with his wife & favourite horse. The walk will continue alongside the banks of the River Moy and learn about the Maritime history of the port of Ballina & see shipwrecks including the concrete SS Creteboom. You will also get to see the old boathouse, cottage ruins, grave of Charles Knox-Gore, the Knox-Gores picnic area and the famine wall before returning back to Jack Fenn's for a relax & chat.
