The Library Restaurant at Belleek Castle
The elegance and splendour of the Library Restaurant in the setting of a 19th Century Manor House is the perfect place to experience our elaborate 2AA Rosette cuisine. The philosophy of our kitchen team is to use classic and imaginative cooking with local, seasonal ingredients from our land, sea and air combining a depth of flavour with the traditions of the castle.

"Firstly we did the tour, which was wonderful, the tour guide was a very hugely knowledgeable and enigmatic speaker. I have been on many castle / Manor House / grounds tour over the years and was expecting the "same old" - directed at real history buffs and so fairly tedious for the rest of us - but not so! Not only is the actual history of Belleck fascinating in an unusual way, but the way the tour was presented was incredible. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, wouldn't hesitate to do it again!
We were lucky enough to follow this with the 5 course market menu, and WOW! The food was stunning - beautifully presented, incredible tasting. Every course was divine with unexpected elements (white chocolate with beef, anyone?). They almost had to roll us out the door due to being so full and content!). You must must MUST have the drunken bullock (steak marinated in Jameson whisky and presented in an unorthodox way - no spoiler alerts here!). Needless to say that it is a spectacle!
Thank you Belleck for a wonderful afternoon, we'll surely be back."
Mayos best kept secret, without doubt. Family run, food is amazing. The ambiance is fantastic without any prentious vibe, yet you feel special. So friendly. chef knows his onions... big time!
