The Library Restaurant at Belleek Castle is the perfect venue to treat that special someone in your life to a Valentines Dinner. Try our fantastic 6 course set Valentines Menu in a wonderful romantic setting and fall in love with our award winning food alongside some brilliant wine. Experience some excellent modern Irish cuisine from one of the best restaurants in Connaught. Belleek Castle is known for their award-winning food and their attentive and unpretentious hospitality. In 2017 the Library Restaurant won ‘Best Restaurant in Connaught’ at the Good Eating Guide Awards and ‘Best Customer Service in Mayo and Connaught’ at the Irish Restaurant Awards.

Relax in front of our warm open fires and enjoy the tranquil ambiance where you and a loved one shall be treated to a memorable evening. On arrival to the castle guests will be warmly greeted by a member of Belleek staff. The castle is cosy and all the rooms are individually furnished with antiquities and period décor to keep the romantic spirit of the Castle alive. Before and after dinner relax in our Spanish Armada Bar where you will be pleasantly surprised with the bar décor. The bar was expertly designed by Marshall Doran in the fashion of a captains quarters on a Spanish armada Galleon using salvaged wood from two shipwrecks. Traditional Afternoon Tea is another option for couples and is available from 2.30pm til 4.30pm from €22 per per person. Booking in advance is essential!

Tenderloin of venison, served on a rich black truffle risotto, intense jus. 


Light My Fire

The famous Drunken Bullock, prime fillet of Mayo beef flambéed in Straw boys Poitin from Connacht distillery, served with mild pepper jus.                                                           


Spiced Heat

Wild monkfish, cooked in butter confit, served with pimento & spice


Love You Honey… with a Hint of Velvet...

Mayo’s velvet cloud sheep’s yogurt with Belleek garden honey.


A Passionate Nights Ending

Passion-fruit sorbet, baked white chocolate & lemon cheesecake.
