Stephen Lenehan our head chef at Belleek Castle will be featured in a cooking demonstration at the Food fleadh Ballina.
Friday 25th August- 1.30pm :Start your foraging trip from Belleek Castle & explore North Mayo
4.30pm: Return to Belleek with your bag of goodies and see how to prepare and cook

Official opening of the 'Buildings of County Mayo'
This exhibition will take place in the courtyard Buildings in Belleek Castle from 6pm on Thursday 13th July 2017.
The exhibition will be in our newly renovated 19th century stables which will be soon open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend!
This touring phoographic exhibition promotes the publication of the Mayo survey of the built heritage of the country
Belleek Castle has been selected to host this exhibition as it demonstrates good practice in the conservation-led adaptive re-use of historic buildings.
This exhibition has been organised with Belleek Castle, the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, National Inventory of Architectural Heritage and Mayo County Council.
Halloween at the Castle,
We have a special menu for the spooky hoilday. Desgined by our head chef Stephen Lenahan and team, based around themes assoicated with the ancient holiday...Ghouls & Ghosts, Witches & Devils
Dates to be confirmed for this "seasonal" menu served between 5:30- 6:30 with added halloween accessories!
Belleek Woods 10km run- Sunday 3rd December 2017
The Belleek Woods 10km contimues to grow every year and is a very popular 10km run in the west. It is a fast and scenic course and the last two miles are downhill through the wonderful woods of Belleek Forest Park.
Entry fee €15.00 registation :Ballina Soccer club
We will be hosting a Christmas Lunch (Date to be confirmed) . This will be a perfect dinning event for families or even for a small gathering of friends on the last Sunday before the hoildays.
We also have a range of seasonal christmas menus running from the first of December.
We also produce a number of artisan food products that are for sale here in the castle, made by our fantastic kitchen staff, these can be bought indivually or as part of a hamper.
Also Vouchers for Belleek can be purchased at any amount for your choosing. These can be enhanced by purchasing one of our lovely scrools, and will make an ideal Christmas present
