Belleek Castle Hotel is the ideal romantic setting for any fairytale Wedding Reception, we can also cater for Civic Wedding Receptions.

Your guests will enjoy a dash of drama with their aperitifs in the Armada Bar. This unique bar is a dramatic recreation of the Captain’s ward room in a galleon of the Spanish Armada, constructed from great oak baulks salvaged from galleons of the ill fated Castile Squadron, wrecked on the Atlantic Coast of Mayo, four centuries ago.

Our Medieval Banqueting Hall dates back to the 14th century. This original and dramatic Hall, dominated by an enormous granite fireplace has been modified to
seat up to 200 persons comfortably. The 16th century carved oak panelling, depicting the colonization of the New World, sits behind the 21ft antique top table. Tapestries cover the walls. At the far end of the Hall under the vaulted ceiling, supported by impressive columns, the great log fire pumps out the atmosphere and warms the two handed swords on the stone Castle walls.

After the speeches, your guests retire to the Great Hall’s bar, a spectacular recreation, featuring heavy baulks of wood sandwiched between mighty stone columns. It must be one of Ireland’s most astonishing places to drink.

What we will give is “impact to your wedding”. We do not have dainty, artificial décor as many modernized castles and hotels do. Our walls are stone, our antiques genuine and our armor bullet proof! If you want another hotel ballroom wedding …. Don’t come to us!
